Members of the Dawson County Commissioners Court will start studying early figures for the 2024 budget this coming week.A budget workshop is scheduled during a special meeting of the court at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the county courtroom at the courthouse.That workshop will precede the court’s regular meeting scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. in the same location.Business to be considered by the court during that regular meeting will include submitting a grant application to the U.S. Department of Agriculture and appointment of Chase Clark as a new director of the Lamesa Municipal Airport Board.The court also will consider approval ...
