Dawson County has had a second death attributed to the COVID-19 virus but details remained somewhat scarce as of Friday evening. The number of Dawson County deaths from the novel coronavirus jumped from one – a death from the initial case reported here in late March – to two in an overnight update which appeared on the South Plains Public Health District’s website Thursday morning.
