Eleven new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed here late this past week, according to the latest information from the South Plains Public Health District (SPPHD).An update issued Friday evening by SPPHD Executive Director Zach Holbrooks showed the total number of cases among Dawson County residents jumped from 2,027 on Wednesday to 2,038 on Friday.A total of 30 new cases were confirmed here during the past week.Friday’s report showed 66 currently active cases of the virus among Dawson County residents.
