Sands High School’s state champion girls basketball team is expected to be honored during Tuesday’s regular meeting of the Dawson County Commissioners Court.A resolution recognizing the team will be considered when the court meets at 4 p.m. in the county courthouse.Ranked number one in the state for most of the season, Sands won the Class 1A state title with a 60-33 victory over Robert Lee early last month.
