SNYDER – The idea of entering an agreement with Snyder Independent School District (SISD) to remove debris from the demolition of the North Elementary School campus was met with something less than enthusiasm from Scurry County commissioners Tuesday.Scurry County Judge Dan Hicks said he and SISD Superintendent Dr. Eddie Bland had met and discussed using county equipment and personnel to remove the debris from the campus in exchange for the school district taking over the maintenance of Moffett and Cates fields - including replacing lighting at the fields.Commissioners Shawn McCowen and Terry Williams said they were concerned about damage to ...
