A change in telephone systems means people will soon need to dial different numbers when attempting to reach one of the Dawson County offices in the courthouse.During a transition period, however, calls made on either the old numbers or the new numbers will still go through, according to County Judge Foy O’Brien.“The new numbers are in service now, and so are the old numbers,” O’Brien said.“We don’t have a date yet when the old numbers will be eliminated.”The change is affecting only the numbers for phones in offices at the courthouse, and will not mean a change of phone numbers ...
