Dawson County officials are looking to purchase a building across the street from the courthouse in order to obtain additional office space for now and the future.Members of the commissioners court are scheduled Tuesday to take action on purchasing the building which currently houses the Lamesa River of Life Fellowship on the west side of the downtown square.“The old Barron building is what a lot of people remember it as,” County Judge Foy O’Brien said of the location.The commissioners court had voted in late May to authorize O’Brien to negotiate, on behalf of the county, for the purchase of a ...
