SNYDER – Scurry County commissioners voted to approve the tax abatement with Brazos Wind Ventures, LLC Tuesday.The 10-year abatement is for the project, which has an initial market value of approximately $75.7 million, although the actual amount will depend upon annual appraisals and decisions made by the owner.The abatement will bring the county $1,081 annually per installed megawatt for the first five years and $1,102 for the following five years with the first payment due on Oct. 30, 2024.– From The Snyder News ...
