Dawson County commissioners experienced a light workload as they handled contracts and donations during their Jan. 23 regular meeting.Most of the business centered around the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office.Commissioners announced receiving $51,925.96 from the Weaver Foundation to pay for improving radio communications in the sheriff ’s office.The Weaver Foundation board reviewed the county’s application for funds Dec. 14, 2023.
