Two city supervisors updated city council Tuesday on what’s going on with the municipal golf course and in the water and wastewater departments.Dionicio Garza, assistant supervisor in the utilities department, reported the water department had $8,650.50 in expenditures, including $582,91 in capital improvements, six leaks, a filled in two-inch waterline and a replacement cap on a new line during the month of August.The wastewater department experienced $1,567 in expenditures, including $1,400 in capital improvement costs.Garza reported his department lost one employee, so they will be one man short until a replacement is found.He also reported his crew started on a ...
