The necessary action to order and establish procedures for a General Election on May 4 for the City of Lamesa is on the agenda for this coming week’s regular meeting of the Lamesa City Council. Council members will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the City Hall, 601 South 1st Street. The only place up for election this year is that of mayor, which currently is held by Mayor Josh Stevens who is completing his first three-year term.
