SEMINOLE – Since its acquisition of a vacated office park at NE 3rd St. and Ave B last February to serve as the new headquarters for the Seminole Police Department, a new roof has been installed but interior work has been fairly limited to date. With a unanimous vote on Monday, however, the Seminole City Council has given the go-ahead to begin remodeling work in earnest. City Administrator Tommy Phillips told the Council that, because the complete remodeling of the facility will consume portions of two fiscal year budgets, 2018-2019 and 2019-2020, there had been no real hurry to begin remodeling work.
