Lamesa City Council members gave the ‘go-ahead’ Tuesday to have buildings on three residential lots demolished while holding off on several other properties potentially facing the same fate. Rundown buildings at 1402 S. 11th Street, 211 N. Detroit and 509 S. 7th Street are set for removal after city officials declared the structures to be public health hazards.
