BROWNFIELD - People were wearing their masks as the Brownfield City Council met for a regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, July 16. One item up for discussion was concerning authorizing the city manager to develop a utility assistance program. The program is for residential and commercial customers who have experienced financial hardships due to the CO-VID-19 pandemic. The program will utilize the CARES Act coronavirus relief funds.
