Commissioner passes away

Dawson County Commissioner Tony Hernandez died early Friday morning at a Lubbock Hospital. He was 59 years old. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Hernandez was almost mid-way through his second four-year term representing Precinct 2 on the commissioners court. “His death is certainly a loss for Dawson County and the commissioners court.
