Store manager Eleanor Cantu wields the large scissors to cut a ribbon Thursday morning marking the official grand opening of the Burkes Outlet store here, which actually opened its doors last Monday. Filling the space left vacant in the Pioneer Square Shopping Center when Bealls pulled out a few years ago, Burkes Outlet offers a variety of merchandise ranging from clothes and shoes to children’s toys, home accents, and beauty accessories.
