ANDREWS – The city council earlier this month provided its support for a proposed low-income apartment complex that would be constructed in northwest Andrews, according to city officials.Butler Park Apartments LP plans to apply to the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs for tax credits for the proposed Butler Park Apartments.If the credits are received, the proposed apartments would be located at 1325 NW County Road 171 and comprise of 48 units with 40 for low-income tenants and eight at market rates, according to city officials.Andrews City Manager Steve Eggleston said one of the city council’s primary objectives has ...
