Lamesa City Council members Monday gave their blessing to the city manager’s plan to seek a loan and/or grant funds from the United State Department of Agriculture to pay for replacement of aging water lines along Highway 180 (N. 4th St.) from Ave. G to Lynn Ave.City Manager Joe Hines said the current four-inch lines located beneath the highway are ancient.
