The municipal landfi ll’s operating hours have expanded with the recent change to Daylight Savings Time.The country switched to putting clocks an hour ahead this past weekend.“There will be a little bit more light,” said Robert Morales, supervisor of the city’s sanitation department. “It gives them (residents) more time to come out here to the landfill.”The new landfill operating hours, which went into effect Tuesday, are from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
