After they ended with the final vote on a lower tax rate for the new fiscal year and accepted the annual financial audit, Lamesa City Council members began the process Tuesday of seeking a $2.45-million loan to pay for the expansion of the municipal landfill.They unanimously agreed to a resolution authorizing the publication of intent to acquire Certificates of Obligation (COs).
