Both Dawson County and the City of Lamesa have again seen their local sales tax revenue, in the form of rebates from the state comptroller’s office, come in well above the previous year.Dawson County’s sales tax rebate for the month of March totals $107,828, almost 10 percent higher than the $98,051 rebate received in March 2022.The county so far has reaped a total of $420,633 in rebates this calendar year.
