SNYDER– The City of Snyder and Development Corporation of Snyder stand to save hundreds of thousands of dollars in interest expense after Monday. Council members approved the Development Corporation of Snyder’s (DCOS) plan to refinance approximately $1.2 million in debt by issuing new bonds. Council members Mitch Hickman and Sarah Jamison asked several questions about the additional expense of adding a new staff member and whether it was a good idea to extend the debt for another 10 years.
