The city’s parks department will be getting a little helping hand with mowing the grass and trimming the trees. Lamesa City Council members agreed Tuesday to award a $125,000 contract to Pathfinder Industries of Lubbock to take care of 73.68 acres of municipal parkland, along with the Boys and Girls Club lake and pavilion, for a year.
