SNYDER - The Snyder City Council got its first look at the 2020-21 budget when it met by video conference Wednesday. The proposed budget, which is just more than $19.1 million, is $615,000 lower than the current budget, according to Finance Director Patricia Warren. It includes $8.3 million in the General Fund, which pays for most of the city’s day-to-day operations like City Hall and the fire and police departments.
