“He died ‘so that others might live,’” stated the bold headline on the front page of Friday’s Fort Worth Star-Telegram. That headline was referring to 67-year-old Richard White of River Oaks, a suburb of Fort Worth. White was one of two congregation members killed by a gunman who opened fire last Sunday inside the West Freeway Church of Christ in nearby White Settlement.
