SEMINOLE - At first glance, one would think they had entered the North Pole when walking into Tommy Spence’s Auto Tech class at Seminole High School. Groups of taller-than-expected “elves” are busy repairing used bicycles and “magically” preparing them to be delivered to children on Dec. 18, just in time for Christmas Entitled “Give a Child a Smile,” the bicycle-giveaway has been a community service project for the school’s Auto Tech classes for over 20 years.
