The annual Chicken Fried Steak Festival more than paid for itself.City Manager Joe Hines presented city council members Tuesday with the estimated costs of conducting the yearly festival.The festival, held over a three day period last April in Forrest Park, had an estimated total budget of $100,260 from inkind donations, sponsorships, booth sales and vendors’ fees.
