Saturday’s city council, school board and hospital district elections didn’t bring out a big crowd of voters, but it did result in a few changes. The hospital district’s board president was ousted while two other incumbents won new terms in office. The Lamesa city council got a new member, and a daughter captured her father’s seat on the Lamesa school board. Dawson County Hospital District Dawson County Hospital District (DCHD) board President Kim Bairrington lost her bid to serve another two-year term in the at-large seat on the board.
