Lamesa’s Denim and Dust event, a pre-holiday activity held downtown each November, is being discontinued by the Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce. Chamber President Karen Mize made the announcement during the Chamber board’s regular monthly meeting this past Monday. Instead, she said, the Chamber will be supporting another event being organized in November by several local merchants.
