CDC urges masks as cases increase

Dawson County is being listed by the national Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as a place where even vaccinated people should begin wearing masks indoors in public places. The CDC has listed the county as having a “substantial” transmission rate of the virus, as measured by a combination of case counts and positivity rates.
