After coming off one of the largest surges in new cases last weekend, Dawson County reported to have only 4 new COVID-19 cases confirmed as of Aug. 13. According to the South Plains Public Health District, this brings the total number of cases to 166. This includes 34 active cases, 129 recovered cases and three fatalities.
