Helping local children and their families have a brighter Christmas is again the focus of the Nuestro Car Club’s seventh annual Toy and Coat Drive.The event, scheduled for Dec. 4 from 11 a.m. to about 5 p.m. in the NAPA Auto Parts parking lot at 310 N. 4th St., also will include a car meet, according to Jaime Galindo, a member of the local car club.New, unwrapped toys and new winter coats for children which are collected at the event will be contributed to the annual Lights of Love campaign hosted by the Dawson County Child Welfare Board.Galindo also is ...
