Caprock Federal Credit Union in Lamesa will be closed all day this coming Wednesday, Dec. 9, in remembrance and recognition of Linda Scott. Scott passed away on Nov. 10. She was a founding member of Caprock Federal Credit Union, having been a part of the initial motion to charter the credit union in 1965, according to Dale Hansard, Jr., current CEO and president of the credit union. After retiring as director of finance for the City of Lamesa in 2006, Scott became a receptionist at the credit union and soon afterwards was promoted to loan officer. ...
