For weeks, there hasn’t been any new changes to the list of nine candidates seeking seven Dawson County elected offices.And the outlook remains the same: no new candidates have signed up to run in the March 5, 2024 primary election, according the Dawson County Elections Office website Friday morning.If no one signs up by 6 p.m., Monday, then it’s a done deal.The offices of sheriff, county attorney, tax assessor/ collector, district attorney, Precinct 1 and Precinct 3 county commissioners; and constable will be on the ballot.Potential candidates must file the paperwork naming their campaign treasurers in the county’s elections office.
