Things are going to get a little brighter around the Dawson County Courthouse.Two weeks after giving their permission to look into putting in lighting along the courthouse building, county commissioners Oct. 17 okayed the $10,840 price tag from E-Z Trim of Hobbs, N.M.County Treasurer Terry Stahl presented commissioners with plans to put the strings of large light bulbs along the courthouse’s top and above two entrances.The cost also comes with four spotlights to be situated on all sides of the courthouse square.The spotlights can be remotely controlled.
