Grace Zant, 12, puts the fi nishing touches on an elephant design on tile during an art project at the Dawson County Public Library. After coloring the tile with a sharpie, the pre-teen and teenage artists then sprayed the tops with alcohol before putting it under a hair blower. The result leaves an array of smudged and speckled designs. The library’s art program, aimed toward older kids, continues with a 2 p.m. pastry decorating competition this coming Thursday.  ...
