Next year when newly elected federal officials are sworn into office, Dawson County will be part of the 19th Congressional District now represented by Republican Jodey Arrington’s 19th Congressional District.Arrington met about 20 city, law enforcement and agriculture officials, along with residents and voters Tuesday morning at the Forrest Park Community Center.As a result of redistricting this past year following the 2020 Census, Dawson County is shifting from District 11 to Arrington’s District 19.
