County changes funding plan for volunteer fire departments TAHOKA – The four volunteer fire departments in Lynn County have always received funding from Lynn County to help support the needs of the departments in Tahoka, Wilson, New Home and O’Donnell, but that funding formula is changing to be more equitable between the departments. After some discussion, Lynn County Commissioners voted unanimously Monday to change the disbursements on a rotating basis.
