Patrol cars among many autos damaged in Tuesday hail storm ANDREWS – The police department was one of many victims that fell prey to Tuesday’s early morning hail storm, according to Andrews Police Chief Ronny McCarver. The 1 a.m. storm brought in quarter-sized hail that resulted in vehicle damage in many instances. “Several patrol cars were damaged on the hoods and tops,” McCarver said. “There is hail damage to them.
