DALHART- As almost everyone in Dalhart and possibly the entire Panhandle is aware, the 2022-2023 school year was particularly rough for Dalhart High School (DHS), as three of its students, sophomores Yahir Cancino and Preston Ralston, and senior Eric Ruiz, passed away during the school year.An effort, spearheaded by Dylan More, a member of the DHS Class of 2024, led to the installation of three memorial plaques near the school’s student/gym entrance.
