ANDREWS- With the recent death of Andrews County Judge Charlie Falcon, the commissioners court has the responsibility of appointing an interim county judge.Falcon died Dec. 27, 2023 from health issues related to a heart attack.The court has functioned in the same manner it has since Falcon’s absence beginning in early November.At that time, the court approved for Andrews County Pro-Tem Jeneane Anderegg to assume Falcon’s administrative duties and for 109th District Judge John Pool to take judicial responsibilities.In a show of respect to Falcon, commissioners said they desired to briefly wait before moving forward with the appointment process.– From the ...
