ANDREWS – Two former school district tax office employees were indicted by an Andrews grand jury last week for alleged crimes related to stealing thousands of dollars from the tax office around five years ago, according to police.The indictments were made following an exhaustive investigation by the Texas Attorney General’s Office and other agencies that dated back to 2018.The two were indicted Thursday in 109th District Court on counts of misappropriating finances between $2,500 and $30,000, and theft of property between $2,500 and $30,000.A press release issued by the police department in August 2018 stated the police department has an ...
