BROWNFIELD – For more than a decade, the Brownfield Family Aquatic Center has been an oasis of fun for families and this summer will not be any different. But it takes some behind-the-scenes work to make the splashes and smiles happen.“We’re going to be cleaning and painting the pool as well,” said Brownfield City Manager Jeff Davis. “We want it to look pretty so it’s ready for summer, which will be here before we know it.”The Family Aquatic Center will open on Memorial Day weekend (May 27-28), in keeping with tradition.“We’ll be doing some ‘early bird’ tickets sales in May,”
