School board, superintendent reach separation agreement SEMINOLE – In an almost two-hour meeting that featured less than five minutes of open session, the Seminole ISD Board of Trustees and Superintendent Gary Laramore reached a mutual agreement on Monday to end his tenure atop the district. Immediately moving into closed session after opening Monday’s called meeting, trustees emerged an hour and 50 minutes later, reconvened the open session and within a minute had moved, voted and accepted a “voluntary separation agreement” with Laramore and tabbed Seminole ISD Chief Financial Officer Jay Lashaway as acting superintendent.
