BROWNFIELD – Meadow ISD and Wellman-Union ISD 5th graders had a great day out of school on Thursday, but learning was still taking place. It was the Annual Kids Farm Tour and the kids had a blast. Tour stops included Martin Farms at Wellman, where Kirk Martin explained their rainwater collection system. The South Plains Underground Water Conservation District was also there with their Water Education Trailer.
