ANDREWS – Active COVID cases in Andrews County reached a new high with the health department’s latest report on Tuesday.The update presented on the county’s social media page listed 442 active virus cases - the most since the pandemic reared its ugly head here in late March 2020.Andrews County first eclipsed the 400 active cases mark on Jan. 7 when the health department reported 437.
