ANDREWS – The school district’s student enrollment numbers surprisingly experienced a fairly substantial decrease with the end of April count, according to figures presented at the May 11 school board meeting. School trustees learned Andrews Independent School District’s (AISD) enrollment dipped below 4,000 for the first time since the 2016-1017 school year. The end of April count revealed a total of 3,999 students district-wide.
