SLATON – The Slaton Ag and Commerce Banquet returns Sept. 27 from 11:30 a.m.- 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Activities Center.The event, which has been conducted for 50 years, was cancelled in 2020 due to COVID.Three awards will be presented: Farmer of the Year, Railroader of the Year, and Farm Hand of the Year.
