The number of active COVID-10 cases in Dawson County remained steady even as the total number of confirmed cases jumped again during the latter part of the week. With seven new cases reported since Tuesday, a total of 184 Dawson County residents have now had the virus since the first confirmed case was reported here in late March, according to the South Plains Public Health District (SPPHD).
