Active cases drop to four

The number of active cases of COVID-19 among Dawson County residents is now down to four. That’s as of this past Thursday, according to the latest information available on the South Plains Public Health District (SPPHD) website. The district reported that one new case has been confirmed here during the past few days, bring-ing Dawson County’s total COVID case count to 1,716 since March of last year. No new deaths from COVID-19 have been reported here in almost a month.
